SUMMARY:Teen & Adult Pottery class
DESCRIPTION:Join a fun Pottery class with Anne Jesse! This class is for beginners to advanced students. You will have many options to hand build multiple items including;  plates\, bowls\, mugs\, vases\, coiled vessels\, & textured garden tiles. All supplies & firings are provided. This is a fun and relaxing class! Cost for all 4 days the class meets is $150.00. We skip one week between pottery making and glazing to allow time for drying and firing of work. This class takes place Monday evenings 6-8pm February 16th\, 23rd\, March 9th\, & 16th. Sign-up now by buying a “Ticket” or stop in to  EAC or give us a call at 440-328-3025. Class fees are due one week before class begins. Scholarships are available for those with tight budgets\, please inquire if interested! \n

SUMMARY:ZenDoodle Watercolor Class with Jennifer
DESCRIPTION:This class is an introduction to beginner watercolor painting. You will learn how to make a wash\, control water application\, the stages of drying\, and negative space and charging. We are making a fantasy forest with embellishments using permanent ink. This class will be held Friday March 6th\, 6-8 pm. Class fee is $30.00 with all supplies are provided ($25.00 instruction fee\, $5.00 materials fee). Payment is due 2 weeks before class begins. It will be a great time! Snacks and beverages are welcome. This class is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend\, credit can be issued minus the materials fee for an upcoming class that is taught by Jennifer. \n

SUMMARY:Watercolor/Mixed Media Pop Art Pet Portraits Class
DESCRIPTION:Come and create using an 8×10 colored high contrast copy (from your printer) of your pet’s photo. We will trace the photo onto cotton watercolor paper using carbon paper; no drawing skills required. We will then outline your pet or other animal picture with thick black permanent ink. We will create a flat watercolor wash for the background and various shapes and shadows on your pet. After that is dry we will use cross hatching (criss cross lines) with an ultra fine tip permanent black ink pen to suggest a 3-dimensional appearance. Finally we will use white acrylic markers and gel pens to create the look and style of classic Pop Art. Class fee is $30 which includes all supplies for this 2 hour session. Please bring color copy 8×10 image. We will be tracing these photos onto watercolor paper. Your ability to see features that are not lost in darkness will positively affect your final outcome. Crop your pet image so that the face and shoulders fills the page. Some good and bad examples are below. \n       \n       \n        \n
