Come and create using an 8×10 colored high contrast copy (from your printer) of your pet’s photo. We will trace the photo onto cotton watercolor paper using carbon paper; no drawing skills required. We will then outline your pet or other animal picture with thick black permanent ink. We will create a flat watercolor wash for the background and various shapes and shadows on your pet. After that is dry we will use cross hatching (criss cross lines) with an ultra fine tip permanent black ink pen to suggest a 3-dimensional appearance. Finally we will use white acrylic markers and gel pens to create the look and style of classic Pop Art. Class fee is $30 which includes all supplies for this 2 hour session. Please bring color copy 8×10 image. Please be advised the curly fur is challenging and not recommended for this beginner class.
