George is an Elyria Resident who took up woodworking about 15 years ago. He grew up in Sheffield Lake, Ohio and graduated from Brookside High School. He was in the first graduating class of The Lorain School of Technology (now LCCC) and received a degree in Chemistry. He currently works in the wood shop at Wesleyan Village in Elyria and makes puzzles of various hardwoods. Each puzzle is sanded and finished to allow the natural wood grain to show making each piece uniquely beautiful. His puzzles are popular for young and old alike and are popular at Christmas time.
