Megan is a native of Elyria, Ohio. She attended school, worked, and raised her children in Elyria. She is a proud member of the Elyria Arts Council since its inception. She used her skill and talent to paint on the Bicentennial Murals in Pioneer plaza and the newest murals West side The Elyria Arts Council. She is a self-taught painter who began selling her work at the age of 16.

After retirement she was able to steep herself in painting, returning to oils from previously working in acrylic. She tries to expand her understanding of color with each new painting. She prefers to paint from her own photos for reference. Portraiture is her most recent focus.
