Kyle Smith is a potter from Cleveland, Ohio. He received his BFA from Kent State University in 2018 and is currently pursuing MFA in ceramics at Florida State University

His focus is to create beautiful objects that bring respite to our daily lives. He strives to create vessels that exude the sentiments of the maker. He believes pottery brings charm to our rituals of sustenance and celebration; it enriches our daily habits with character and grace. He is inspired by the moments when pottery is in use. He strives to make pottery that engages our bodies and minds, decorates our homes, and brings meaning to our lives through experience.
