Marge is and Elyria resident who has been making and selling Art in Lorain County for 50+ years. Her earliest memories are of making things and finding great joy in doing so. When her family got a set of World Book Encyclopedias, she discovered the great artists of the world. She remembers immersing herself in learning about the great art masters of the world, and being amazed that such wonderful art was possible. She loved art in elementary school, but really became passionate about Art in high school with the encouragement of her teacher. Over the years she has made wearable art, painted on slate, done macrame, created doll clothes, and stitched soft sculprtures. She currently enjoys painting in watercolor, creating jewelry, making unique felted wool hats, and playing the dulcimer.
